i want to share this wid u all.. yesterday in my income tax class we were doing the topic "taxability of gifts received from relatives"..

so we were doing the definition of "relatives"
in the definition there's a point that " lineal ascendents of your spouse" r included in relatives & gifts received from them r not taxable..

first sir said look " mein kuch nahi keh raha..sab law keh rha hai ki spouse ke bache aur mere bache alag ho sakte hain.. tumhare bache, mere bache -hamare bache , iska matlab samajhte ho? ""woh tha na kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi.. usme jo karan tha na usse bhi gift le sakte ho, tax nhi lagega""

then i thought that how popular hiten is as karan that even my income tax sir ( he is a famous CA, & one of the best faculty for income tax in India, gives lectures & conducts seminars on budgets etc all over India & abroad too, & is around 65 yrs of age) knows abt karan of kyunki..

hahahaha ur sir is indeed very funny.n yah Karan was tremendously famous all credit goes to Hiten.he used to glue us to the show even when trupti,rishabh malhotra,shiv ganga, look alike tulsi,ram kapoor crap was going on. viewers used to wait for KN scene only. Ekta kapoor n stupid creative ruined the potential of karan nandini but couldnt lessen their charm a bit
